DutyFreeRadar

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains, in plain language, how DutyFreeRadar handles data when you use dutyfreeradar.com, and the rights you have. We aim to keep data collection to a minimum and to be transparent about it.

What we collect

  • Usage analytics — to understand which pages are useful and how the site performs, we use third-party analytics tools. This is limited to aggregated, non-identifying information such as pages viewed, approximate region, device type and how you arrived at the site. We make an effort to keep this data minimal and privacy-friendly, and where the tools allow it, identifiers such as IP addresses are shortened or anonymised.
  • Information you choose to give us — if we introduce features that need it (for example price-drop alerts or a saved list), we will only collect the details you actively provide for that feature, use them solely for that purpose, and update this policy accordingly.

We do not process payments and never see card details. We strive to collect no more than we genuinely need to run and improve the service.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, mainly to measure traffic through our analytics tools. These are only set after you choose "Accept" on the cookie bannershown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting core functionality.

How we use the data

Solely to operate, secure and improve DutyFreeRadar — for example, to understand which airports and categories visitors find most useful. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Third parties

We rely on a small number of reputable service providers to run the site — for example an analytics provider to measure traffic and a hosting provider to serve the pages (which may keep standard server logs for security). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. If we later add affiliate or partner links, clicking them may share standard referral information with that partner, and we will mark such links clearly.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA (or a region with similar laws), you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct or erase it and to object to certain processing. As we hold very little personal data, this usually applies only to analytics information. To make a request, contact us via the details on the about page, and we will do our best to respond promptly.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The effective date above reflects the most recent change.
